After a wet process, the shaker drains free water before feeding. Its role is different from a chiller, which lowers the product temperature. The diagram locates dewatering between preparation and elevation.
See how the chiller works ↓Follow the peas at the Redler feed point. The elevation change and the downstream machine’s feed rate guide the choice of transfer equipment.

Water sprays heat the product on the belt.

Cuts vegetables into cubes, slices or strips.

Removes pits from cherries and sour cherries.

Separates stems from the fruit.
After blanching, the product passes through the cooling section. The chiller cools the spray water, so the product reaches the IQF tunnel at a lower temperature.

In this installation, water runs over ammonia-cooled plates, collects in a tank and is pumped back to the blancher spray nozzles.

The shaker drains free water after washing or cooling.
The Redler elevator lifts product from the feed point to the next machine. Watch the peas flow through the feed point in this installation.

Washes reusable handling crates between production runs.

Distributes product onto the next conveyor or process stage.

Final dimensions, capacity and refrigeration load are engineered for the product and facility.
